According to a recent report by Advito Tourism Group, hotel room prices are forecast to increase at the same time in 2017. Accordingly, room rates will fluctuate between 1 and 5%.
 

The reason for the rise in room rates was the lack of supply. The demand of tourists traveling more and more but the number of hotel rooms are less and not the variety of quality and price.
Expected areas of rising prices are North America, the Middle East and the South West Pacific. Meanwhile, hotel room rates in Europe and Africa will only increase slightly.
Advito also forecasts that airlines will be adding new aircraft and low oil prices, which will keep airfares in the economy class as they are today. Popular transcontinental class tickets tend to fall slightly, except in Europe. However, ticket prices will increase by between 3-5% with top-class ticket buyers in the Southwest Pacific and Asia.
